Valeriya Voronkina is a London-based performance designer with a focused interest in puppetry and immersive performance for young audiences. She is also experienced in costume and set design for stage and is passionate about expanding her area of expertise to costume design for screen. Through her work she explores themes of cultural identity and heritage and its significance in performance today. She has been travelling and working with artists in South-East Asia, Russia and the UK to gain some insight into the international world of performance.
